Vietnam Techmart 2007 expected to be biggest ever

Da Nang (VNA) – More than 100 foreign institutes and businesses have registered to participate in the Vietnam Technology and Equipment Fair 2007 to be held in the central city of Da Nang from September 6-9.With 32 firms in attendance, China tops the list of foreign participants in terms of number at Vietnam Techmart 2007 that will also see the participation of companies from Japan, Israel, the Republic of Korea and the US, said the organising board. Israel companies will showcase large-scale water treatment technology and equipment for municipal and provincial use. The organising board said close to 400 local businesses, including some 100 from the central and Central Highlands regions, will take part in the fair where over of the latest 2,000 software products and IT solutions will be on display.
The event is aimed at developing technology in the country combined with scientific research, training and production, and to create business opportunities.-Enditem
